近年來(lái)演慣了平民“老好人”的張國(guó)立，此番在《草根王》中徹底顛覆以往形象，出演了反一號(hào)劉尚文——一個(gè)混跡于南市，以警察的身份為幌子招搖撞騙、嗜賭如命，最終淪為漢奸的大惡人。全劇的第一主角朱山，由實(shí)力派演員王志飛扮演。朱山自幼對(duì)《周易》頗有悟性，后被奸人所害入獄。在獄中，他拜師學(xué)藝，進(jìn)入了“高買(mǎi)”行（舊時(shí)指劫富濟(jì)貧的俠盜），后來(lái)又以相士的身份作為偽裝，與日本人斗智斗勇，保護(hù)了中國(guó)的國(guó)寶。

　　在一個(gè)陽(yáng)光燦爛的尋常日子，臨街某棟大樓一件空曠的房間里，一個(gè)面目清俊的男子正不動(dòng)聲色地通過(guò)高倍望遠(yuǎn)鏡觀察著繁華大街上往來(lái)的人流。片刻之后，在男子的指示下，隱藏在人群里的兩位偵察人員不露痕跡地控制了他們?cè)缫讯⑸系哪繕?biāo)1，然而，正在此時(shí)意外發(fā)生了————一輛瘋狂的摩托車(chē)突然不顧一切地朝目標(biāo)沖去，企圖殺人滅口，執(zhí)行任務(wù)的偵察員劉海山立刻轉(zhuǎn)身把目標(biāo)1推向安全地帶，自己沒(méi)躲過(guò)殺手的襲擊，而殺手在即將被與劉海山一起執(zhí)行任務(wù)的偵察人員李石捕獲之時(shí)服毒自盡……

裁判法院法官高希敏（宣萱 飾）是個(gè)出名的釘官，鐵臉無(wú)私，公正嚴(yán)明。潛意識(shí)里希敏不相信男人，也不相信婚姻！卻想不到一次意外的邂逅，她竟然閃電結(jié)婚！令她改變初衷的，不是高大威猛的事業(yè)型男人，卻是個(gè)喜歡打理家頭細(xì)務(wù)湊仔煮飯的小男人葛國(guó)光（陳錦鴻 飾）。原因竟是因?yàn)橐淮尉坪罄p綿，卻發(fā)現(xiàn)希敏懷了自己的骨肉，并打算墮胎，國(guó)光竭力阻止，并向希敏求婚，被一口拒絕。希敏為了斷絕國(guó)光的糾纏，故意訂立了一份非?？量痰幕榍皡f(xié)議書(shū)，以為用這方法可以嚇走國(guó)光，想不到國(guó)光竟然毫不猶豫，立即簽署！并立誓遵守協(xié)議書(shū)所有條文，令希敏大為感動(dòng)，終于答應(yīng)與國(guó)光結(jié)婚，并生下小兒子，開(kāi)始了三小口子的幸福家庭。然而始終磨難不斷。

　　The story begins in today Istanbul, when a woman called I??k (Bade ???il) arrives at an old house. There she recalls the past and friends of her youth.
　　Back in 1998, a group of young people (Eda, Osman, Sinan and Kerem) studying in a school of Istanbul are at risk of exclusion because of their poor behaviour. They are very different from their classmates and, therefore, very lonely. A headmaster and most of the teachers are against them, and only one called Burcu (P?nar Deniz) does her best to protect the youngsters. However, they find out that Burcu is getting relocated, and this means that all of them will be excluded after her departure. In order to prevent this, students unite and make a plan: they will make Burcu fall in love so that she stays in Istanbul. According to the law, after marriage she will be able to choose a place of work by herself. They ask for help from I??k, an excellent student and a girl with a big heart. Soon she becomes a part of their company. This union helps the students change for the better, understand themselves, realize the importance of true friendship, find love and their own way in life. At the same time, their plan helps Burcu change her outlook on life and find true love with a new unsociable teacher called Kemal (Kaan Urganc?o?lu).
